When I got my Bachelor's degree in German Literature, I studied mainly two areas in literature:
Medieval Literature, and KZ-Lager Gedichte, or poetry written in concentration camps. Later, I realized that there were other camps than the Nazi camps, but also the Japanese "internment" camps in the US, as well as the camps currently in former Yugoslavia. I am working on bringing poetry from these and other areas as well, creating what may become a museum of camp poetry.
